TWO LEVELS OF ACCREDITATION
The Mission Zero Standard moves fleet accreditation to a new level. First achieve Mission Zero Status and then Mission Zero+.
MISSION
ZERO
It is a forward-looking scheme with legal compliance at its foundation whilst leading towards the best in-class operations for road safety and environmental performance. Mission Zero provides fleet operators with a single route to compliance by meeting both legal and procurement requirements.
The Mission Zero Standard provides accredited operators with an independent assessment of legal compliance appropriate to the type of fleet used for driving at work. Accredited operators also benefit from regular updates on national fleet regulations to ensure they are always up-to-date against their legal compliance obligations.
The Misson Zero Standard is recognised by The Traffic Commissioners of Great Britain for compliance auditing and also officially accredited by Transport for London as equivalent to FORS Bronze (Version 7.1).
MISSION
ZERO+
Increasingly, safety and environmental performance measures are specified by procurement and the Mission Zero Standard aligns with these mandatory procurement measures through the Mission Zero+ Advanced Transport Modules.
Mission Zero, along with the Mission Zero+ Work-Related Road Risk Modules are officially accredited by Transport for London as equivalent FORS Silver and FORS Gold (Version 7.1) therefore compliant with TfL’s Work-Related Road Risk (WRRR) requirements, or any organisation specifying FORS within their supply chain including HS2, CLOCS and National Highways.
Fleet operators can use also Mission Zero+ to demonstrate a greater commitment to sustainability through the Mission Zero Sustainability Modules, that are aligned to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s).
*Mission Zero and FORS are entirely independent accreditation schemes and being accredited for one does not entitle an operator to be automatically accredited for the other. Separate applications and fees apply for each accreditation scheme.
