Mission Zero Amendment & Cancellation Policy

PURPOSE

At Mission Zero, we appreciate that certain situations may lead you to need to amend the date of your audit or even cancel your audit. If you do need to cancel or amend your audit date, charges may apply based on the amount of Business Days’ notice you provide us. This policy outlines any charges that may be applicable.

DEFINITIONS

Amendment – means where a request is received to change an audit date and the new audit date is booked at the same time as when the original audit date is cancelled, unless notice is received less than 4 Business Days in which case Amendments are treated as Cancellations and Cancellation charges will apply.

Important: Please be aware that if we’re required to change a date more than once then your company could be subject to an amendment fee of £75 for every subsequent change.
Cancellation – means where a request is received to amend or cancel an audit date and no new audit date is booked at the same time as cancellation of the original audit date.

Complete Business Days – means Monday to Friday between 9.00am and 5.00pm only (excludes weekends and public holidays). For the day that you provide notice to be considered the first Business Day of notice, notice must be received before 9.00am that day. If notice is received after 9.00am, the next day (providing it is not a weekend or public holiday) will be considered to be the first Business Day of notice.

Important: The Amendment or Cancellation notice period excludes the actual day of the audit. For example, if your audit is due to take place on a Monday and you cancel it on the previous Monday (i.e. 4 complete business days), you will be eligible for a 50% refund or transfer of the fee. If you cancel it on the previous Tuesday beforehand (i.e. 3 complete business days), there is no refund or account credit of the fee.

AUDIT AMENDMENT AND CANCELLATION CHARGES

Number of Business Days’ notice given to Mission Zero to amend date or cancel audit

Amendment Fee, Cancellation Fee and Refunds

More than 7 Complete Business Days before the day of the audit day

Amendment Fee: No charge for first amendment, £75 charge for each subsequent amendment

Cancellation Fee: Full refund or account credit to re-book audit at a later date.

Between 4 and 7 Complete Business Days before the audit day

Amendment Fee: £75 charge for first amendment, £75 charge for each subsequent amendment.

Cancellation Fee: 50% charge of original cost of the booked audit. 50% refund or account credit.

(Operators benefitting from free audits will be charged 50% of the standard audit rate as published on the Mission Zero website)

Less than 4 complete Business Days before the audit day

Amendment Fee: All Amendments are treated as if Cancellations, Cancellation charges will apply.

Cancellation Fee: 100% charge of original cost of booked audit

(Operators benefitting from free audits will be charged 100% of the standard audit rate as published on the Mission Zero website)

SUBSCRIPTION FEES

Subscriptions fees are non-refundable.

If you decide not to proceed with your Mission Zero accreditation (for whatever reason), no refund will be provided on any subscription fees you may have already paid.
