Chris Bowen Specialist Transport, a national and international abnormal load specialist established in 1999, proudly announces the achievement of both Mission Zero and WRRR Gold Accreditations, equivalent to FORS Gold. This accomplishment reinforces the company’s position as a leader in the transport industry.
Operating a fleet of 11 vehicles equipped with cutting-edge navigation and telecommunication systems, Chris Bowen Specialist Transport has created a reputation for reliability, competitiveness, and professionalism. The recent Mission Zero and WRRR Gold Accreditations underscore the company’s unwavering commitment to excellence, safety, and sustainability.
Shane Harrison, Transport Manager of Chris Bowen Specialist Transport, announced the company’s journey towards Mission Zero and WRRR Gold, stating, “As a previous long-term FORS Gold company, we have long sought high levels of compliance and future standards in our industry. However, due to increased costs and high resource requirements, we found as a small operator we simply could not justify the continued efforts to conform to the FORS system.”
Harrison continued, “So! As a business, we began looking for a more user-friendly alternative, with lower costs and more support. Thereby allowing our company to continue to be part of an award-winning haulage/transport scheme, but also to be part of one where we felt both value for money and value of investment was justified. Via our training provider Fleet source, we were pointed towards Mission Zero as a credible alternative, with savings on training costs and more robust audits……. We have never looked back since that day.”
“Our Journey to Mission Zero has been an altogether pleasant one, with clear membership benefits at every turn. As a general haulage firm, we believe the MZ scheme suits our business type excellently and looking forward to the future it will allow us to operate in an increasingly competitive industry.”
He added, “Along our journey to Mission Zero membership, we’ve been supported by a wonderful team of experienced professionals from various business departments and feel that the move to MZ has always been without fault. Looking to the future, we believe strongly that MZ membership will allow our company to develop in the positive and compliant way that we wish it to. Protecting the environment, maintaining high standards and reducing WRRR at every turn. For us as a company, it’s clear the future is bright and sustainable with Mission Zero.”
Chris Bowen Specialist Transport remains dedicated to pioneering excellence, safety, and environmental responsibility in the transport industry, leveraging these accreditations as a testament to its commitment to setting new industry standards.
