Shane Harrison, Transport Manager of Chris Bowen Specialist Transport, announced the company’s journey towards Mission Zero and WRRR Gold, stating, “As a previous long-term FORS Gold company, we have long sought high levels of compliance and future standards in our industry. However, due to increased costs and high resource requirements, we found as a small operator we simply could not justify the continued efforts to conform to the FORS system.”
Harrison continued, “So! As a business, we began looking for a more user-friendly alternative, with lower costs and more support. Thereby allowing our company to continue to be part of an award-winning haulage/transport scheme, but also to be part of one where we felt both value for money and value of investment was justified. Via our training provider Fleet source, we were pointed towards Mission Zero as a credible alternative, with savings on training costs and more robust audits……. We have never looked back since that day.”
