Prichard Contracting Ltd has achieved Mission Zero and WRRR 2 Gold accreditation, reinforcing the company’s commitment to the highest standards of fleet safety, compliance and operational excellence.

Founded in 1995 with humble beginnings operating a single tractor and trailer, the Prichard’s business has grown into one of Wales’ largest family-run, privately owned multi-disciplinary groups. Based at Llantrisant Business Park in South Wales, the company now operates across demolition, recycling, rail, remediation and civil engineering, delivering services for both public and private sector clients.

With more than 300 employees and a large, operationally demanding fleet, maintaining strong compliance systems and a robust safety culture is fundamental to the company’s operations. Achieving Mission Zero and WRRR 2 Gold accreditation reflects the organisation’s ongoing commitment to continuous improvement and responsible fleet management.

Jamie Minahan, Transport Manager CPC Road Haulage at Prichard Contracting Ltd, explained why the business chose Mission Zero:

“Mission Zero aligns perfectly with our commitment to maintaining the highest levels of operational safety and regulatory compliance. In an industry where standards are constantly evolving, we needed a framework that not only benchmarks performance but actively supports improvement in a practical and measurable way.”

He continued:

“For a fleet of around 100 HGVs operating across multiple demanding sectors, maintaining absolute confidence in our compliance and safety standards is critical. Mission Zero provides a practical framework and a genuinely supportive team that understands our industry, helping us drive continual improvement and operate at the highest possible standard.”

By achieving WRRR 2 Gold accreditation, Prichard Contracting Ltd demonstrates how strong governance, structured compliance and a safety-first culture can be embedded across large and complex fleet operations.

Mission Zero congratulates the entire Prichard Contracting Ltd team on this outstanding achievement and looks forward to supporting their continued journey as they maintain and build upon Gold-level standards.
